Uploading a bacpac

If you want to create a new site based on existing customer data, you can upload a bacpac to the customer and then create the site. The uploaded bacpac appears in the Site Creation wizard.

When a bacpac is uploaded, the user who uploaded the bacpac is included in the audit information so that the user can be traced in the event of a problem.

  1. To upload a bacpac file for a customer, click Organizations | Customers. To upload a bacpac file for a site, click Dashboard | Site Dashboard.
  2. Click the customer or site Name.
  3. Click Bacpacs in the Operations panel.
  4. To upload a new bacpac, click New Bacpac, select the file, and click Open.
  5. To upload a new version of an existing bacpac, click the Edit bacpac icon and click Choose Files. Select the new version of the file and click Open.
  6. Add a description for the new bacpac or update the description for an existing bacpac if necessary in Description.
  7. Click Save.
