Canceling a trial site

You can cancel a trial site if the site status is Ready or Suspended. You might cancel a trial if the customer decides to buy the product before the trial has ended. Canceling the trial deletes the trial site. You can then use the user’s email address for a real customer.

  1. Click Try & Buy | Sites.
  2. Click the site Name.
  3. Click Cancel Trial in the Operations panel.
  4. Click Yes. When you cancel the trial:
    • An email is sent to notify the customer that the trial has expired.
    • The canceled trial site is no longer displayed on the Try & Buy version of the Site Summary screen.
    • If the trial expiration date is the same as the trial deletion date, all user, customer and site data related to the trial is deleted.
    • If the customer is trialing more than one product, only the site relating to the canceled product is deleted.
