Replicating a site for Sage 100
You can create a new Sage 100 site based on an existing one using the Replicate operation. The new site can be created using a newer version of Sage 100; therefore, this tool can be useful when upgrading a customer to a new version. For more information, see Using Replicate Site to Perform Parallel Migration.
The new site uses the following items from the original site:
- Data disk
- Users
To replicate a Sage 100 site:
- Click Dashboard | Site Dashboard.
- Click the site Name.
- In the Operations panel, click Replicate .
- In the Replicate Site window, enter the name of the new site and select which version of Sage 100 to use.
- Click Replicate.
You will receive an email when the process is complete. An audit entry is created for tracking purposes.
