Performing actions to change the site status
- Click Dashboard | Site Dashboard.
- Click the site Name.
- Click the relevant link in the Operations panel. For more information, see Site status.
- To lock a site, click Lock site and Yes. Lock a site to prevent anyone changing the application. When a site is locked, you can unlock, amend, suspend, or stop it.
- To unlock a site, click Unlock site in the Operations panel and Yes.
- To suspend a site with a Ready or Locked status, click Suspend site and Yes. This stops the running hosted services. When a site is suspended, you can shelve or resume it.
- To resume a suspended site, click Resume site and Yes. This recreates the required hosted services for the suspended site.
- To shelve a suspended site, click Shelve site and Yes. This archives SQL Azure data that's no longer needed and frees Azure resources.
- To unshelve a shelved site, click Unshelve site and Yes. This retrieves archived SQL Azure data that was shelved or restores data that was backed up.
- To stop a site, click Stop site and Yes. This stops the running hosted services. It archives SQL Azure data that's no longer needed and frees Azure resources. When a site is stopped, you can start it or delete it. This option is displayed for Sage 200 Standard only.
- To start a stopped site, click Start site and Yes. This retrieves archived SQL Azure data that was shelved or restores data that was backed up. It recreates the required hosted services for the site. This option is displayed for Sage 200 Standard only.
- To delete a shelved site, click Delete site and Yes.
- To delete a stopped site, click Delete site and Yes. This option is displayed for Sage 200 Standard only.
Warning! When you delete a site, it's deleted permanently and you cannot recover it.
