Canceling a subscription

Canceling a customer subscription involves the following steps. For more information, see Performing actions to change the site status.
- Click Dashboards | Site Dashboard and click the relevant site Name.
- Ensure the site has a Ready status.
- Suspend the site. The databases are still live.
- Shelve the suspended site. Databases are exported to a file and stored. You can unshelve the site if you want to recover customer or site data.
- Stop the site. is this step necessary?
- Delete the site. The site cannot be recovered from the portal. The portal sends information to the back office and the subscription is cancelled. Is this correct?
