Canceling a subscription

Canceling a customer subscription involves the following steps. For more information, see Performing actions to change the site status.

  1. Click Dashboards | Site Dashboard and click the relevant site Name.
  2. Ensure the site has a Ready status.
  3. Suspend the site. The databases are still live.
  4. Shelve the suspended site. Databases are exported to a file and stored. You can unshelve the site if you want to recover customer or site data.
  5. Stop the site. is this step necessary?
  6. Delete the site. The site cannot be recovered from the portal. The portal sends information to the back office and the subscription is cancelled. Is this correct?
